A Message from the President

Welcome to the virtual home of the dynamic members of the Ascension Alumnae Chapter (AAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Please also visit our social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to learn more about our Chapter and our beloved Sorority.

AAC is affectionately known as the "Tax Day Chapter" due to our charter date of April 15, 2015. Since that pivotal day, AAC has experienced consistent growth in its membership and has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to youth in our community.

The goals of the 38 visionary women who chartered Ascension Alumnae are achieved and surpassed in our award-winning programs and activities. Our members work together to develop and execute innovative programs based around our sorority's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

• Economic Development
• Educational Development
• International Awareness & Involvement
• Physical & Mental Health
• Social Action

If you are a duly initiated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in need of a chapter home, please visit us at chapter meeting on the second Saturday of each month or at one of our many community programs.

AAC is intentional about deepening our footprint in our service area and delivering signature projects that enrich our community. Our goals and programming for the 2026-2027 sorority year are guided by our Vision Statement — "Building Our Legacy:  One Chapter, One Vision".

In Sisterhood and Service,

Ashanti Z. Corey
